Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky is a roguelike dungeon crawler video game developed by Chunsoft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld console. It is an enhanced remake of 2006’s Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team, and was released in Japan in April 2009, North America in September 2009, and Europe in November 2009.
The game features a story that is similar to its predecessors, in which the player character is transformed into a Pokémon and joins a rescue team with their partner Pokémon. The player must explore a variety of dungeons, battling enemies and rescuing trapped Pokémon. The game also features a new gameplay mechanic called the “Super Mystery Dungeon,” which is a longer and more challenging dungeon that can only be accessed after completing the main story.
