Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is an enhanced remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, released for the Nintendo DS in 2009. Developed by Chunsoft and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, it’s the fifth installment in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series.
The core gameplay of Explorers of Sky remains dungeon-crawling RPG, where players explore mystery dungeons in a turn-based manner. Players recruit other Pokémon to form a team, battle enemies, and complete missions. One of the unique features of the Mystery Dungeon series is that players are themselves Pokémon, having been transformed from a human at the beginning of the game.
