Pokemon Lost Silver is a creepypasta, a horror story spread online, that centers around a corrupted version of the Pokémon Gold Version game cartridge for the Game Boy Color. The story describes a player who acquires a seemingly used copy of the game, only to discover that it contains disturbing glitches and abnormalities. As the player progresses through the game, they encounter unsettling events, corrupted Pokémon, and cryptic messages that hint at a dark and tragic backstory.
The creepypasta’s origins can be traced back to a 4chan thread in 2010, where it was first described as a personal experience. The story quickly gained popularity online, spawning numerous adaptations, including fan games, videos, and written retellings.
