Hello, Welcome back to Pokemoner.com, and I’m Pokemoner. Today, We will play Pokemon Team Magma Edition by Dr.joe! It’s a GBA Hack ROM and based on Pokemon Emerald. You are a member of the Magma Team. You can play Pokemon FireRed Rocket Edition if you want to play as Team Rocket.
This game is similar to the Pokemon Rocket Team. You will receive Poochyena and destroy, steal Pokemon! It has new soundtracks, many side quests, and hidden features for you!

Story Summary
In a region divided by three factions vying for dominance, each promoting a set of ideals they believe to be absolute, you are an idealistic young trainer aspiring to join Team Magma. In doing so, you hope to promote the advancement of mankind. It turns out that hope for a better world is a funny thing as nearly everyone has it in some way, but people take their hope in many different directions. Whether their hope is on land, in the water, in the sky, or somewhere else people will push for their dreams. In doing so, they often trample on the hopes and dreams of others all in the name of achieving their goal of a ‘utopia’. This is the world you are thrust into. Upon joining Team Magma, you become a part of the Hoenn underworld where you soon realize that instead of right and wrong, there are only the weak and the strong. In Pokemon Team Magma Edition you will have the opportunity to work your way up through the ranks of Team Magma, using whatever means necessary (cheating, stealing, etc.) to make Maxie’s vision of a perfect world for humans a reality. Explore Hoenn’s three-way conflict and the toll it takes on the populace. Uncover the truth behind the formation of Team Aqua and Team Magma along with the mysterious team before their time and the truth behind the Devon Corp and Hoenn’s government.

-A stealing system that allows you to take pokemon from trainers you defeat (In Team Magma Edition stealing will be limited based on which side the area supports. An example is that due to Fallarbor supporting Team Magma you will be unable to steal from trainers in Fallarbor.) – Will be in Beta 1

BETA 1.1 CHANGES/FEATURES
– Most grammar and spelling errors have been fixed
– Any sentence with … will not have a space because its a character wasted and Comet doesn’t like wasting space when Otto writes such long speeches
– Pokemon will not be spelled with the ` over the e. It takes time to do that and Comet has enough to type as is
– All reports involving the e in Pokemon and the … will be ignored/deleted as will be any other grammatical errors that are similarly trivial or space/time saving
– The bookcases will all have something to read, however not all of them are in the game at the moment
– Dialogue for NPCs and trainers may be incomplete (anything plot relevant is in)
– Map issues have been fixed
– All reported issues with the Briney sidequest should be fixed (report if you are still finding errors)
– The issue with Stern’s Shipyard should also be fixed
– Talking to Mr. Stone should not crash the game anymore
– Fixed the Desert music playing on Route 111 when not in the desert
Q: Do you need HMs in the game?
A: HMs will not be necessary to travel in the overworld, however there will be tools/mechanics to replace some of the more used ones
Q: How do you evolve a pokemon that needs to be traded?
A: The trade evolution methods have been changed
Q: Can you play as a member of Team Aqua?
A: No. This is a ROM hack about being a member of Team Magma
Q: Will any teams like Team Rocket make a appearance in the hack?
A: No, the only evil Teams will be Magma and Aqua
Q: Will Mega Evolutions, Z moves, etc be in the hack?
A: No, these mechanics would not work for our game
Q: Are Brendan and May going to be in the hack?
A: Technically no, but we are using a combination of Branden/Ruby and May/Sapphire that isn’t quite cannon
Q: Is this going to be another FRTRE?
A: FRTRE was an inspiration when starting this game, but it is not similar to it other than being the bad guy and being able to steal pokemon from certain trainers
Q: Will hidden abilities be in the game?
A: Yes, they are included in the battle engine and even wild pokemon can be found with their hidden abilities, though they are more rare
Q: Will Fakemon be in the game?
A: While there are no Fakemon there is a Parodymon you can receive in a sidequest
Q: How long is the current beta?
A: Approximately 2-4 hours
