Pokemon Kanlara Adventures

Pokemon Kanlara Adventures
Name: Pokemon Kanlara Adventures
Remake From: Pokemon Fire Red
Remake by: Sakakii
Source – Credit on Pokecommunity: pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=409964
Description:
Kanlara is the region where you were born. You spawn here, and you meet up with your childhood friend and rival. You are informed that the Professor wants to see the both of you.
At the Lab, Professor Woke lets you know that apparently, Kanlara is under attack by a group known as Team Rocket.
You recieve your first Pokemon, and together you and your rival set out on your adventure.
Your goal is to become the best trainer you can, but also to put a wrench in Team Rocket’s plans and make sure they’re put in their place.
Later, it becomes apparent that Team Rocket is gaining too much power, and the entire fate of Kanlara will rest on your shoulder as you embark on your path towards the final battle, that will decide it all…

Features:
variety of Pokemon from Gen 1-7 that can be caught or battled
Exciting plot that gets dark at times but ultimately, comedy prevails
Mostly original maps, made with the beautiful Gen 3 tileset
Game scales up to level 100 making for some epic late-game battles
New TM list + a huge chunk of new moves from Gen 4/5 added to the game such as Scald and
X-Scissor

Bugs/oddities
Flying is awkward
Because some of the maps were based off the Sevii Islands, meaning you
can’t Fly to them from a town on the regular map, so you have to walk. Luckily the region is small
and fairly easy to traverse (There are no forced wild encounters, for example, all grass can be avoided)
Majority of NPC inside buildings as well as outside in some towns have default FRLG text
Sheer laziness on my part
Movelists are not 100 % accurate to the original games
There are a some TM eligibility issues, I have fixed a lot but there is still more to go.
New moves use old animations and some new moves are not what you would expect
Quiver Dance, Shell Smash, Coil, they’re all copies of Dragon Dance. Still good moves!
Gen 4+ abilities have not been implemented
Meaning Aegislash gets Levitate YAY!

Helpful notes (contains minor spoilers)
– The Pikachu will not be amused until you bring a Magnet with you
– The Pikachu has stronger stats than a regular Pikachu, and learns
an original move at Lv. 64
– You can get the Light Ball if you talk to a guy in the house just above the western exit in Wanlara City
– There’s a guy inside the big apartment block in Kaji City.
Talk to him, and he will ask you if it’s day or night.
If you tell him it’s night, you trigger an event in Haunted
Mansion.
– Rock Smash is needed for progression after the 5th Gym.
You get this HM in one of the houses in the Town.
– The final boss Pokemon (you’ll know what it is when you see
it) uses 4 custom moves. These are not very fair, but maybe
you can find a weakness. (There’s a list for these moves
at the bottom)
– Revive’s can not be purchased. Instead, most Legendaries hold either a Revive or a Max Revive.
So try to catch as many as you can. Also, there are some Revive’s as Pokeball gifts in the region.
