Hello, Welcome back to Ducumon Website and I’m Pokemoner. Today, we will play Pokemon Beta Emerald by Give me a slap. It’s a GBA Hack ROM and based on Pokemon Emerald.

It has Pokemon up to Gen 8, Gen 6 EXP Share, new events, new areas, Clone Forms, Mega Forms, Rebalanced Pokemon, and more… It’s still beta when I made the video. And now, Let’s play bro!

What’s different compared to normal Emerald?
Good question! Have this list:
All pokemon from Gen 1-8 are obtainable (except most Legendaries and Mythicals)
Gen 6 EXP Share
Mega’s
Reusable TMs
2-in-1 Bike
Improved Littleroot Town with faster start
A brand new Mewtwo event!

What about balance changes?
In the current release, Beta Emerald does not have any balance changes and that’s because I want to do it right. For now all trainers are unchanged however I wish to change that ASAP.
To do so I need data on what level people are at when they reach area’s using the Gen 6 EXP share, if you believe you can help, please join the discord and see the hack-feedback channel where I have the details laid out.

Changelogs:
-Fixed a bunch of softlocks and crashes related to the Deoxys event
-Fixed Sootopolis softlock
-The Deoxys event now works without a single error! You can start it the second you catch Rayquaza

This will be the last release for a few days so I made sure to complete the game to find any softlocks during the main story and I have patched them all out. So you shouldn’t have to worry about them anymore. I still recommend saving frequently just in case.
