Hello, Welcome back to Ducumon Website and I’m Pokemoner. We will play Pokemon Containment by lichenprincess! It’s a Fan-made Game, RPGXP Game and you can play it on PC or Android!

You’re Professor, build your team and explore the story! It has 8-bits background music and Gold/Silver graphics style. It’s completed in English and now, Let’s play!

Here at the Scientific Center for Anomalous Lifeform Defense (or SCALD, for short), many strides are taken to protect normalcy, which involves containing and researching any bizarre anomalies found. One of the most common types of anomalies being anomalous Pokémon.
In Pokémon Containment, you can play as one of these three aspiring SCALD researchers who’ve just been hired and wish to make a name for themselves. See if they succeed!

Strong foes await you – Build your own team!
Pokémon Containment’s battles are heavily inspired by “boss rush” games and Raid battles in the Pokémon franchise. Each anomalous Pokémon you face will be very, very tough, being level 100 with boosted HP stats, but your safety will come from strength in numbers — for every mission, you’re allowed to bring any 2 Pokémon from a large rental selection just for researchers like yourself! Not only that, but SCALD has a dedicated free supply of TMs and a Move Relearner on-duty at all times. Use this to your advantage! You can build unique strategies, challenge yourself by picking less viable Pokémon, or just play with some of your favorites! Essentially no two people will have the same team.

Content Warning!
I just want to cover my bases just so nobody is uncomfortable! If you couldn’t already tell, this game is heavily inspired by the SCP Wiki, an amazing collaborative writing site that I absolutely adore. It contains many of the tones in articles there, so there are minor mentions of death and harm, in an ever-so-slightly toned down version of the usual sci-fi horror style the SCP Wiki tends to use. The only things shown graphically are a minor tiny overworld sprite of a skeleton, and a half-skeletonized monster. Everything else is mostly a minor mention, but it’s still worth warning about. If I had to give this game an ESRB rating, it’d be a T (If you’re familiar with the Ace Attorney series, which are officially a T, I’d say the levels are fairly similar.)

EDIT: Since I’ve heard of people assuming it because of the horror genre, I would just like to clarify there are NO jumpscares in this game. Don’t worry.

Other Details
This game was made with Pokémon Essentials v18, with a lovely plugin called Pokémon Essentials GBC by Xaveriux.
Additional team credit to Zygoat and Kalico (who isn’t on this site lol) for assistance in code and dialogue writing.
