Hello, Welcome back to Ducumon and I’m Pokemoner. We will play Pokemon Grand Colosseum by Kya! It’s a Gamecube Hack ROM and based on Pokemon Colosseum! You can play Pokemon Colosseum and XD Sketch Sketch if you’re finding another Colosseum ROM Hack.

It’s a QoL Hack ROM with hard mode, PSS System, Fairy Type, over 50 new moves, Infinite TM, update stats, and more… It’s completed and playable in English. And now, Let’s play!

Very happy to finally be able to share the first full Pokemon Colosseum QOL and difficulty ROM hack to date!

Grand Colosseum not only acts as a difficulty hack to one of the hardest pokemon games out there, but brings a host of QOL changes, including but not limited to

Known issues
.Bulldoze only hits opposing foes
.Discharge, Boomburst, lava plume, sludge wave and surf all hit dig users in turn they’re invulnerable
.Discharge, sludge wave and lava plume lack their secondary status inflicting effects
.Water absorb, flash fire and volt absorb cancels surf, lava plume and discharge respectively
.Hurricane doesn’t cause confusion
.Stat reducing berries do not work (As in vanilla)
.The AI still seems to think fake out effects ghost types
.Glitched text for some status effects

Tips
Colosseums are loosely designed to be completed at specific points during your journey
If underleveled for Dakim try the rematch fights in Pyrite Square
If underleveled for Venus, try Phennac stadium, Mirakle B and the Justy fight.
Pyrite colosseum can be done before Ein if underleveled, afterwards if not.
Under colosseum after or just before Gonzap
Use Mt Battle’s area 6 if you want quick and easy grinding spots.
Light screen, reflect and protect can help immensely in most fights

Changelog:
Main changes for 3.0
. Access the PC box from anywhere, meaning you can finally after 20 years save wherever you are
. New UI to show whether a move is special or physical
. Paldean Tauros is now in the game!
. A nuzlocke mode where rare candies are purchasable from Pyrite for 1$ and purification is pretty much instant
. A host of other small balance tweaks and changes to make for a smoother experience overall, including increasing the exp yields of most Pokemon
All changes can be found within the documentation in your downloads
WARNING: DO NOT save in front of Rui when she’s inside her sack and then quit the game. You’ll softlock yourself and nobody wants that. For safety I also wouldn’t try it when Vander is on the floor in Mt Battle.
