Description:
Hello, Welcome back to Ducumon and I’m Pokemoner. We will play PokeMetroid by GuilhermeRM! It’s a GBA Hack ROM and based on Pokemon Fire Red.
It’s the same as Pokemon Fire Red but you can catch some monsters from Metroid such as Barrier X, Omega Metroid, Ridley, Mother Brain… it’s version 2 when I made this video. Version 3 will be released soon! It’s playable in English. And now, Let’s play!
This hack substitutes the starter evolution lines for:
Metroid Gamma Metroid Omega Metroid
Birdie Misterious Creature Ridley
X Parasite Core X Barrier X
MewTwo was also edited to be Mother Brain
They all have completely revamped movesets, types, base stats, abilities, etc.
The female trainer sprites are also changed to resemble Samus Aran as a Pokémon trainer.
The rival will pick a complimentary starter and has custom movesets for all his battles. Otherwise, the game is basically the FireRed you know.
