Hello, Welcome back to Pokemoner.com, and I’m Pokemoner. Today, We will play Pokemon Super Crystal by PeteyMcFly and his team. It’s a GBC Hack ROM and based on Pokemon Crystal.

This game is Feature Hack ROM where you can catch all Pokemon up to Generation 2, PSS System, no trade evolution in-game, trainers are smarter, Infinite TM, HM can be overwritten and more features. It’s the RC1 version when I made this video. And now, Let’s play!

Pokemon Super Crystal is a hack of Pokemon Crystal, built using the pokecrystal disassembly project. Super Crystal introduces many changes to make the game more fun and challenging, and allows you to capture every pokemon without trading.

Major changes include:
Can catch every pokemon
Physical/Special split
No need to trade to evolve
Pokemon available earlier on in a playthrough. All Pokemon except legendaries can be obtained before the Elite 4.
Many moves are only accessible via TM in gen 1, or through breeding. Everyone’s level-up learnset is going to be altered to give them their strong egg moves, and many TMs from Gen 1 will be brought over like Swords Dance, Ice Beam, etc.
You no longer need to wait to evolve a pokemon to learn a certain move. ALL evolved pokemon can learn the same moves that their pre-evolutions can learn.
Trainers and Bosses will be significantly tougher, with stronger parties and smarter AI
Type Matchup Changes: Poison now super effective against Normal, Ice now resists water
Male and Female Pokemon are equally strong now.
Infinitely Reusable TMs
HMs moves can be overwritten

Fixes to bugs in the original game that trigger when the enemy AI switches Pokemon
Add Stat EXP to enemy trainers, increasing difficulty by making enemy trainer mons as powerful as the player’s
Additional AI tweaks to make it smarter, while also removing some of its more cheaty mechanics, like reading player switches
Better DVs for wild Pokemon. To avoid wasting your time grinding for decent DVs, the game will reroll until the core DVs (not HP) at least sum to 21
Increase catch rate modifier of most types of Poke Balls. Since this game puts Pokemon with very difficult catch rates in earlier parts of the game, the overall effectiveness of most types of balls has been buffed to avoid wasting the player’s time.
