Smashmons Spirit Red

Name: Smashmons Spirit Red
Hacked by: Manekimoney
Based on: Pokémon Fire Red
Source Link: https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=425070
Description:
Hello, Welcome back to Pokemoner.com, and I’m Pokemoner. We will play Smashmons: Spirit Red by Manekimoney! He likes Smash Bros so He put it in a Pokemon Game. It’s based on Pokemon Fire Red.

It’s the same as Pokemon Fire Red but The map is changed and re-moded, some new events, PSS System, too much smash bros characters as a Pokemon in this game, and more and more features. It’s actually completed in English. And now, Let’s play!

Features:
-Many different creatures from many different franchises as catchable Pokemon, each with their own unique stats, typing, movepools and abilities
-Remodified Kanto, with expanded areas and more of them to explore (still, play with expectations of playing Fire Red, but with a few changes)
-A physical/special split
-A different story
-Post game content with Trainer Tower and more story after becoming the Champion
-Familiar video game characters as trainers or gym leaders
-Moves from newer generations, custom moves and rebalanced old moves
-Pokemon base stats in the Pokedex entries, so you can easily check them anytime
-Fully completable regional Pokedex, with a mini reward for the completion
-Possible challenge playthroughs with special rewards. This includes speedrunning challenge and 0 EXP challenge
-Many items can be held by wild Pokemon, including evolution stones, which are now much rarer
-Move relearner moved to Cerulean. The mushrooms needed for him are often held by wild Grass type Pokemon
-HMs can be forgotten anytime

Balance changes
-There is a regular version and “Casual” version, which makes the hack easier in some ways and making it much more nuzlocke friendly (still not reccomended for a nuzlocke tho)
-You cannot use items in battle, however, neither can your opponents. Held items still work and can be commonly found in marts
-Critical hits reworked. Now, a crit has only a 0,001525% chance of happening. With increased crit chance, it rises as by each stage as follows: 12,5%, 50%, 100%.
-Move type boosting items, like Silk Scarf, now increase power by 20%, instead of 10%.
-(not present in Casual version) Removed badge boosts
-(not present in Casual version) Game is locked to “Set” style (no switching between KO-ing opponents)
-(not present in Casual version) Removal of EVs
-(not present in Casual version) IVs not random anymore, with every Pokemon having all of them at 31

Challenge runs:
Speedrun
A Lakitu named Senik managed to beat the game in 6 hours and challenges you to beat it faster than him. This means that you have to defeat the true final boss (not the champion, it’s even after that) and come back to him before this time runs out. The time is quite lenient, allowing for a somewhat sloppy and unoptimized run and if the player wants to, it can optimize it further.
It is recommended to tackle this in a mindset of “How do I beat this in under 6 hours?”, instead of “How can I beat this as fast as possible?”.
Beating this will give you a special unique reward. Due to the hack’s increased challenge from the base game, some wacky strategies will be needed.

0 EXP run
Any EXP gain is disabled. The Day Care is disabled. You can only activate this before you pick your starter.
In this challenge, you have to catch Pokemon as you go through your journey. You will always be underleveled and will need some unique strategies to overcome some of the challenges. It might get pretty frustrating and tedious at times.
Beating this will give you a special unique reward.

0 EXP speedrun
If you activate 0 EXP challenge and talk to Senik, he will give you 20 hours to beat this. The estimate has not been tested, so perhaps it is quite lenient or very strict. Only an insane person would even try this.
Beating this will give you a both the rewards of 0 EXP and Speedrun challenge AND additional bonus rewards.

Smashmons Wiki:
Ability changes:
-COMPOUNDEYES renamed to HYPERVISUAL, so it can be added to things, other than bug types
-Rough Skin damages foe for 1/8th of their HP, instead of 1/16th
-Pickup table changed, removed useless berries and Rare Candies, now has evolutionary stones, Big Mushroom and Berry Dew (a powerful healing item that can be held)

Notable move changes:
-Many very powerful moves now have less than 5 PP, to balance them properly.
-Setup moves now rarely have enough PP to give you +6 to a stat.
