Description:
Hello, Welcome back to Pokemoner.com, and I’m Pokemoner. We will play Mega Moemon Emerald by Septentrion and his team! It’s a GBA Hack ROM and based on Pokemon Emerald. All Pokemon and Pokedex entries are updated for Moemon.

PSS system, fairy type, new trainers, mega evolution, non-trade evolution, extra sprites, and more features are in-game.. It’s just beta but it’s playable, maybe it has some bugs. Anyway, Let’s play! It’s the same as Mega Moemon Fire Red!

Pokemon Emerald only runs on 128k Flash save type. If you run into an all-white screen, check your emulator’s save type.

BIG NOTE: This is a highly experimental hack and we are not sure of what pokeemerald is and is not capable of.
At this time, saves are not guaranteed to carry over from one version to the next.
Any new feature that messes with the save structure will likely cause problems with saves.

Features:
———-
Moemon sprites for all encounterable Pokemon.
All non-legendary or mythical Pokemon from Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn (except Unown). As well as a small selection of mons from Sinnoh and beyond.
Many evolution methods from Gen IV and beyond have been implemented, including mega evolution. All Gen IV cross generational evolutions are obtainable.
Please understand that sprites are the limiting factor and so not every Moemon can mega evolve at this time.
All trade evolutions have been removed and replaced by other methods. See the ChangedEvos.txt for more information.
For convenience, all evolution methods that rely on time of day have an alternative method in addition to their usual method.
Levelup learnsets and egg moves are based on Gen VII (USUM). The daycare has been updated only for nature, pokeball, and IV inheritance.
Items, moves, and abilities up to Gen VII are possible, but are not guaranteed to work as intended at this time.
Moves and abilities updated to Gen VII standards when possible.
Wild Double Battles can occur on land ~15% of the time (requires 2 or more mons in party).
Hidden Abilities can show up on any Moemon ~10% of the time.
The shiny rate has been quadrupled to 32/65536. All Moemon have a shiny form.
Physical-Special Split has been added. Inspect your Moemon’s moves in the Summary Screen to see the icons.
Fairy type has been added and retroactively applied.
Type Effectiveness Chart has been updated to Gen VI+.
Clover-inspired soft level caps are set at +5 levels of the strongest mon of the next Gym Leader and will help you quickly raise low level mons.
Reusable TMs + Additional TMs + Deletable HMs + Infinite use Move Tutors.
Badge based pokemarts.
New trainer teams.
Various new graphics.
ORAS Hoenn dex.
…And more!

Exclusives to Extra Overworld Sprites version:
Complete style overhaul of all overworlds sprites for people.
New FRLG styled overworld sprites for Brendan and May.
Additional overworld sprites for trainer classes without their own.
Additional or overhauled overworld sprites for some items and objects.
Moemon overworld sprites for some overworld Pokemon (ie. the Regi trio)

Why does this version exist? Have you ever noticed that multiple trainer classes use the same overworld person sprite and it doesn’t always
match any of them? No? Well, I did and it bothered me even as a kid. So when I saw that I could “fix” this, I did. And since that’s not
the case for everyone, I made the Extra Overworld Sprites version as a standalone alternative patch.
(If this sounds boring, then just use the regular version)

You can use the same save file on either version (if you know how to carry over saves), but you may need to go in and out of a building a few times
to get everything to load properly. If everyone turns into Brendan, don’t freak out. Just do the building thing.

How to Mega Evolve:
1: Have the Mega Bracelet in your Key Items
2. Give a Moemon the correct mega stone
3. In battle, choose Attack, then press Start (the same key that opens the menu)
4. Use a move

Note: Currently, Wattson gives you the Mega Bracelet upon completing the New Mauville quest.
Mega stones are in Lilycove. Brendan/May, Wally, and Steven will give you the three Hoenn starter stones.

Note 2: Nothing in the Mirage Tower is exclusive. Some mons are there as an early chance to catch them and to make the tower more interesting.
Rare encounters in the tower will show up later on as well, usually at a higher encounter rate.

Note 3: Press Start in a bag pocket to use the auto sorting feature.
Pressing various buttons while on the stats page in the summary screen could show useful information.

Known Bugs:
———–
0. Any and all issues from https://github.com/DizzyEggg/pokeemerald/issues
1. Ending a double battle with a multi-hit move, like Bullet Seed, can cause the next battle to crash the game.
If you Run from or defeat the enemy without selecting Bag or Pokemon during the next battle, you can avoid the crash.
You cannot Run from Trainers however, so be careful.
Enemy Trainers can also trigger this bug.
2. After being gifted an already gifted item, the text box may glitch. Just continue talking as if the text box is still there and change screens afterwards.
3. After obtaining the national dex, you might see Pokemon near the bottom of the dex. You cannot encounter them nor see them during a playthrough.
4. Some graphical glitches such as the gates in Fortree Gym and Underwater sprites (Extra Overworld Sprites Version)
5. Moves that hit everyone except the user, such as Earthquake, will say the move is out of PP if you try to use it in a double battle with only 1 PP (2 PP if an enemy has Pressure) left on the move.
6. Schooling occurs at the end of a turn instead of the beginning. School Wishiwashi doesn’t always revert to small form immediately. Make sure it’s in small form before saving.
7. Talking to Walda’s dad after reloading a save causes text errors.
8. Manual sorting does not work in the Pokeballs or Battle Items pockets. You can use the sorting commands in these pockets, however. Berries and TMHMs will revert to numbered order after closing the bag.
9. The Battle Tent can turn some of your mons into Bad Eggs.

Warnings:

Future Features Section:
————————-
(In order first seen/imagined)

Reworked Trainer Teams, Wave 3: More rebalancing of regular trainer, wild mon, and Gym Leader + E4 levels.
Brendan/May and Wally will have their teams looked at and improved.
Important NPC trainers will receive megas if Moemon sprites are available.

50 New TMs: TMs 51-100 only, no touching the original 50. Moves for new TMs are not finalized, but priority will be given to anything that is/was canonically a TM. Canon TMs whose no. is 51+ will retain their number. Canon TMs with no. < 51 will get a new TM number. Locations undecided. Currently have a list of 30 in mind.
Daycare Update: Update the rest of the daycare to a newer gen’s standards. Gen undecided, but likely 6+. Will try to have a compromise to keep TMs and HMs as valid moves to be passed onto eggs.
(Theoretical) New Maps and Tilesets: Possible addition of new custom maps. Possible overhaul of tilesets (map graphics like trees, houses, grass, water, etc.)
